The Puerto Rican Day parade is one of the biggest parades in New York City. The street festival on Saturday and the giant parade on Sunday are so filled with Latino pride it takes two days to celebrate. This year, John Catsimatidis brought a friend to the Puerto Rican Day Parade, former Governor of Puerto Rico Luis Fortuno. The vibrant Latino community is a major force in New York City and any leader who does not understand this will never be able to move our City forward. John Catsimatidis' longstanding friendships with Latino leaders bodes well for a great future.
